F150 Raptor Puddle Lights: Installation Instructions

Thanks for choosing ProtoHype. Follow these steps to install your F150 Raptor Puddle Lights.

Before you start

Park on level ground, turn the truck off and remove the key or fob.
Make sure the new light matches the shape and connector of the factory puddle light you are replacing.
Have a plastic trim tool handy. Avoid metal tools that can scratch paint or trim.

Open the mirror or door area where the puddle light sits and locate the factory light.
Gently pry the factory puddle light out with a plastic trim tool.
Unplug the factory connector by pressing the release tab. Do not pull on the wires.
Plug the ProtoHype light into the connector until it clicks.
Open a door to test that the light turns on before you seat it.
Press the light into place until it is flush and secure.
Repeat on the other side if you ordered a pair.

Light does not turn on: re-seat the connector and confirm it clicked fully.
Light is loose: check that the factory clips or retainers are seated in the housing.
